Welcome to Vårlyckans vandrarhem!
Our hostel, Vårlyckans vandrarhem, is located in Roslagsbro IFs sports stadium in scenic Roslagsbro about 13 kilometers north of Norrtälje.
Just outside our hostel,
section 8 of the Roslagsleden trail ends and
section 9 starts. Here you will also find the bike trails Cykelspåret and Kustlinjen. Just a few kilometers from the hostel is lake Brosjön, one of the best lakes for water birds in the county. There is a birdwatching tower next to the lake. You find the tower approximately 400 metres from the trail in section 9.
At the sports stadium we have boules, running tracks, sport/gymnastichall, grill and sauna. We also have free WiFi.
We offer accommodation in dormitories with bunkbeds. There are eight dormitories, one larger room and seven smaller ones, with accomoditions for up to 42 people. In our kitchen you can prepare your own breakfast or meals. Associated to soccer games our small cafe is serving coffee, tea, hotdogs and icecream etc. We also have a vending machine.

Bunkbeds in the dormitories 4, 5 and 6This hostel is perfect for you when you are hiking or biking and need a roof over your head for a night or two. The premises are also suitable for school camp activity or similar activities.

Cancellation policyReservations for accommodation can only be canceled free of charge until 18.00 the day before arrival.
If you do not cancel your reservations on time, you will be charged SEK 100.

3. Turn right at Roslagsbro church still at Roslagsbrovägen (AB 1146) drive 1,1 km
4. Turn left at Vårlyckan (Roslagsbrovägen 189) and here is the hostel
By bus from Norrtälje and Stockholm
Bus 645 departs for Drottningdal from Norrtälje busstation. Bus 676 departs for Norrtälje Busstation from Tekniska Högskolan Stockholm. For more information please visit
