What is Hapkido?Hapkido is a traditional self-defense art and a modern martial art. It originated in Korea and means “the way of coordinating your power.” We mix kicks, punches, grabs, throws, and joint locks into fun and effective combinations. The training is varied, and at higher levels, there is a chance to train with staff, walking cane, sword, or other traditional weapons.
Are you between 9-13 years old?For those aged 9-13, Hapkido offers action-packed training where coordination, concentration, and stability are improved while having a lot of fun. The training follows a consistent approach with concrete goals achieved through playful methods. Body and spatial awareness, gross motor skills, and teamwork are all part of the training. While focus, discipline, and good behavior are emphasized, the sessions also include lots of laughter and play.
Are you 14 years or older?Hapkido is a training method where you can challenge yourself both mentally and physically, resulting in improved coordination, flexibility, strength, endurance, and confidence. Nordic Hapkido offers the highest quality in both competitive and recreational training for joy, increased well-being, and personal development.
For those who are a bit older or who don’t have competitive ambitions, Hapkido is a fun workout that improves stability, strength, balance, coordination, flexibility, and endurance. Thanks to group training with skilled and experienced instructors, the atmosphere during the sessions is top-notch, while you can focus on your own abilities and goals.
