Welcome Attila

Vi säger varmt Välkommen till Attila Horvath-Gaudi.
Tack vare ett bra samarbete med IK Tord så kommer Attila att tillhöra oss kommande säsong för att utvecklas på bästa sätt. Attila är en väldigt spännande spelare med fina spetsegenskaper och det ska bli kul att följa hans utveckling hos oss.

Vi tog ett snack med Attila för att lära känna honom lite bättre. Han har redan varit med några matcher och gjorde en fin insats i premiären mot NIK. Även om han håller på att lära sig svenska så tog vi snacket på engelska. Så vi kör det på engelska nedan.

Welcome to Habo IF. You have been in the team for some weeks. How has it been?
- Thank you so much, it has been absolutely amazing, the coaches and the team has welcomed me warmly. It is a good community with good guys.

What is your background in soccer? How is it to play in Sweden?
I started playing football when I was 6 years old in the local team in my home city, Mezotúr.
Then I moved to a bigger team, called Szolnoki Máv FC, and played football there for a few years.

-When I was 12 years old, I moved to one of the best Academy in Hungary, called Debreceni VSC. This was a huge step in my life, because I had been living away from my parents since I was 12 years old. I had spent 8 years in Debrecen and reached great victories and accomplishments.

After 8 long years in Debrecen me and my girlfriend decided to take a huge step and we moved to Sweden for studying, but of course I wanted to continue my football career aswell. Fortunately, I had the opportunity the join IK Tord, which is an amazing club.
And now I am playing in Habo IF which is an honor to me.

-Playing football in Sweden is different than it was in Hungary, because on the trainings and on the matches everyone fights as a warrior. So I would say it is more competitive than in Hungary, but I like this mentality, because this is the way a player can improve and develop.


As you see it, what are your skills on the field?
- I think I am an intelligent football player, who can think in advance on the field and give great passes and create chances aswell. One of my biggest skills is that I can run a lot and also I am good with the ball.

What is your expectations, both for you and your team?
-For the team I think we have the chance to go up to Division 3, because we have a very good team with high quality players.
- For myself I would like to score many goals in this season and also contribute to the team in every possible way.

Your best memory in soccer?
- With Debreceni VSC, we reached 3rd place in an Italian tournament, among teams like Atletico Madrid, Saussolo and As Roma. Fun fact, that we have beaten AS Roma with penalties and I have scored one of the penalties, which was an amazing feeling.

What do you like to do except football?
- I like to work out in the gym and running aswell as playing darts. And of course hanging out with my girlfriend and my friends.
